THE HUMAN BEHIND THE DOODLES

Hi, I'm Razvan. I draw the small things on purpose

An artist in Bucharest making playful, imperfect illustrations about food, cozy rooms and the small moments most people walk past. I turn them into prints, custom apparel and the occasional thing you can hold in your hands.

I stopped drawing for eight years

I grew up drawing. In high school I spent two years preparing to apply for the Faculty of Architecture in Bucharest. I got in. Then I didn’t finish.

For eight years after that, I barely picked up a pencil. Life filled the space, work, routine, the usual. I didn’t think of myself as an artist anymore. I thought that door had closed.

Last year, something shifted. I started drawing again, quietly, without a plan. A ramen bowl one night, a pond the next morning, a cat in a window the day after. The work started piling up on my desk. Eventually it felt stupid to keep it to myself.

So I built this shop. Everything here is drawn, printed, signed and packed by me, in my apartment in Bucharest. If you order a print, it passes through my hands before it gets to yours. If you commission something, you’re not buying from a brand.

You’re buying from one person who finally stopped putting it off.

A few things I actually believe ✶

Wobbly lines over clean ones

I don’t fix every imperfect curve. The hand should show in the drawing. If it looks like a machine made it, something’s wrong.

Small over grand

A bowl of ramen cooling on a table is worth drawing. A sunset over mountains has been drawn enough. I’m interested in the stuff you’d normally scroll past.

Slow over loud

I’m not trying to be viral. I’m trying to make work you’d still want on your wall in five years.

Where this all happens

I work out of a corner of my apartment in Bucharest. One desk, a stack of paper, an unreasonable number of pencils, a laptop, and a printer that works most of the time. No team. No studio assistant. Just me and the mess.

Come say hi

The two best places to actually see what I’m making, in order:
